Empagliflozin, Cardiovascular Outcomes, and Mortality in Type 2 Diabetes

Abstract (English)

In patients with type 2 diabetes at high risk for cardiovascular events, empagliflozin, as compared with placebo, was associated with a lower rate of the primary composite cardiovascular outcome and of death from any cause.
